Home Inspection Process - Thermal Breaker ImageYour home inspection process starts by you contacting us and choosing what services will assist in your home purchase.  Next, you select a date and time that will work for you, your realtor, and the sellers. On the day of your inspection we prefer that you are present so that we can show how your home systems operate.  This is a very important time for you because we are at the property and we are able to answer possible questions about the property.  We are always available for follow up questions but it is a little easier if we are there to explain the issues you might have at the time.   The standard inspection works like this:

  • Exterior - grading, roof, siding, use of thermal imager to see if any energy, moisture, or garage issues, water penetrations,
  • Attic - insulation, water penetrations, mold, sheeting
  • Interior components - bedrooms, living areas, bathrooms
  • Thermal imager - used to investigate potential issues with moisture, insulation issues, and energy concerns.  (All reports come with the thermal images we deem viable to the inspection process.)
  • All mechanical systems - heating, air conditioning, electrical system, plumbing, sump pumps

*   The report will be delivered to you via email, mail or fax. All of our reports are computer generated and come with thermal image pictures, digital images and cost to cure for all potential issues that we find.
